The Bakewell Raspberry Tart is hands down my favorite item from The Gluten Free Bakery Girl. Every time I see one in the local coffee shop I give in to temptation and buy it. The crisp pastry and the richness of the almond frangipane balances well with the raspberry. In fact, the almond layer is so flavorful and decadent it makes me think I am eating marzipan. In fact, I'm going to ask my family to start getting this for me instead of birthday cake on my birthday.
My gluten eating family members love these. They would rather eat these than many glutinous treats.
